Delete your Crease Reader account

In the app

1. Open Crease Reader and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap the settings icon, then Account & sync.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is hidden at once and you are signed out. If you change your mind, sign in within 30 days and tap Restore my account.

Without the app

If you can't open the app, write to [email protected] from the email address on your account, with “Delete my account” in the subject. We reply within 45 days.

What is deleted

After the 30 days we permanently remove your account and everything tied to it: your profile, friends, club memberships, notes, replies, photos, voice notes, the library kept with your account and any book files stored for you. Our backups are overwritten within 30 days after that.

What is kept

• Reports and the decisions made on them, for one year after the report is closed, or longer if the law requires it.
• Records we use to prevent abuse, for seven days.
• Books, notes and highlights on your phone, until you delete them or uninstall Crease Reader.

Deleting a single note or reply

Open it and choose Delete. The text is removed from the active record, and a voice note is deleted at once where we can.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. To cancel one bought on Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, Crease Reader, and Cancel subscription. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. If you need help, write to [email protected].
